June Sekiguchi Article in International Examiner
June Sekiguchi’s show “Pattern Play” is reviewed in the newest issue of the International Examiner. The excellent article, written by Susan Kunimatsu, includes a revealing interview with June that explores her history and how it informs her artwork in the present.
“At first look, June Sekiguchi’s sculptures appear abstract: cubes, prisms, wedges and more complex geometric shapes; wall-mounted or free-standing pieces constructed of cut and painted plywood.
