"My art is influenced by my community and my work with children. The rich stories from the community and the children's point of view inspire my images. My work is linoleum cut block print with collage. I do not use a press, but use the back of a wooden spoon to impress the images which makes every print unique.
The work that Fanny is doing in this print is ordinary yet she is doing it with love. The child is enchanted with Fanny's voice and movements and her presence gives the child great peace." |
